Lead Apron Suspension System
Free Motion provides physicians with a flexible apron-suspension system, allowing unrestricted movement in the operating room — with a full seven-foot radius. Our system works with any lead apron and adjusts to any desired weight. It is also easy to install with no negative impact on a sterile environment.
Why Free Motion?
Free Motion eliminates the lead apron’s displacement of weight on the body, so physicians are able to work longer in comfort, with less stress and limited fatigue. How Free Motion Works
Our Free Motion system is easily connected to the ceiling grid of an operating room. Cables attached to the device are fastened to the lead apron. During operation, the “smart” device suspends the heavy apron — literally lifting it off their body (chest and back) — and fluidly moves with the physician around the room.
